The foundation of our Pastoral Council is the life of Christ and the Good News which He proclaimed.

We are each called to a personal holiness which is unique to each of us, but which unites us into one body, the Church, His living community in the world. We are each asked to share His love for us with our family members, our community of faith, and our larger world community.

The Pastoral Council will recognize the individual gifts that each person has to help carry out the will of the Spirit, and call individuals and groups to use these gifts for the greater glory of God. The Pastoral Council will provide and look for more ways to accomplish these goals.

Through shared common prayer and prayerful reflection, the Pastoral Council will remain open to the Holy Spirit through the action and suggestions of others. This openness to the Holy Spirit will also allow the Spirit to speak to each council member and to direct their actions to promote the love of Jesus Christ here on earth.
